Radiohead Tour

Well, it looks like Radiohead is going to be visiting Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, and Santa Barbara. That means four cities within i-would-drive-to-see-Radiohead distance, and four chances to get tickets to go see them. That makes me pretty excited.

Also, did you know their new album, “In Rainbows,” debuted at number 1 in the US, the UK, and Canada? Not to mention number 2 in Australia… Considering they already give it away for free three months ago, I’d say that is pretty awesome…then again, I am one of the people who paid twice for it, once for the download and once in the store (hey, it was only $8 and I get the real deal).

Anyhow, I am hoping to get the chance to see them in concert this summer.

Pre-order Radiohead’s new album!!

Yay! You can preorder either the download or full boxset of Radiohead’s new album “In Rainbows” right here

Wheeeeeeeee!!

Radiohead Album – October 10th!!!

Whoa! See what happens when you forget about something because it’s so far in the future you don’t feel like waiting for it?

Radiohead is releasing their new album, called In Rainbows on the 10th. That is less than 10 days from now.

According to this site, the album will be available for download and you can pay almost anything you’d like for it (I guess the minimum is 45p, which is…I don’t know…80 cents in American?)

But in December they will be coming out with a fancy-pants box set with all kinds of stuff in it that I will doubtless be unable to resist.

I’m still really confused as to why their label wouldn’t give them a new contract (uh, hello? It’s Radiohead!!) but this may be for the best. It’s not like it will be hard for them to sell their music.

So excited!

Music and Megatokyo

Well, let’s see what’s going on in the world of music…

Saviour Machine, as you may know, did not release their final part of the Legend trilogy on 7/7/7 as planned, due to Eric Clayton’s health. Fans are sad, but willing to wait for the conclusion to that awesome project. The revised release date is early next year.

Radiohead claims to be working on and nearly finished with their next album, which will be insane and awesome. Because…it’s Radiohead.

Gogol Bordello released their new album “Super Taranta” a few days ago, but I will admit I heard it much earlier and…well, I wasn’t impressed. I am currently of the opinion that “Gypsy Punks Underdog World Strike” was more coherent and varied. However, you can currently listen to their entire new album on their MySpace page.

I also received Volume 5 of Megatokyo in the mail yesterday, and the Megatokyo .N1T3Z poster today. Pretty cool. Not sure what I’m going to do with the poster, though…
